Stanley Lake at sunset. I had spent some time earlier in the afternoon scouting aspens when the sun dropped behind a huge cloud that covered most of the sky. I figured Stanley Lake was my best chance at a good sunset. I drove over there despite the gray, flat lighting and waited. About 30 minutes before sunset, light started to hit McGown peak and then the clouds broke up and gave a pretty nice display.
