Aaron Cowan > Detailed photo of Succor Creek. Succor Creek State Park is located in extreme Southeastern Oregon. I drove out there one day on what looked to be promising weather (at least in Boise) but after two hours of driving the clouds moved in and it was very overcast. I settled for a little hike down the canyon to the creek due to the conditions.

I decided to try out a square crop and the result is much more pleasing. I also made a few more changes to the sky and Leatherman Peak.

There was a snowfall (not a waterfall) continually coming down from the canyon. The rocks on top of the ice are from people's attempts to break it. The ice was actually pretty thick.
