Aaron Cowan > Little Wild Horse Canyon, San Rafael Swell, Central Utah. This was a situation I was hoping for, getting reflected light on one side of the canyon with cool shadowed lighting on the other side. No photoshop tricks, just snapped the pic and did some levels and curves.

Aaron Cowan > This section of LIttle Wild Horse Canyon is towards the end of the hike. The canyon opened up to a much larger creek bed and the light was bouncing off the canyons walls above. This lead to a nice glow on the rocks in the foreground of this frame and gave a good foreground to the backdrop of the creek bed and canyon wall in the shade.
